Say goodbye to regrets: stop wanting to turn back time
  1. You will never be able to turn back time. Sure, the DeLorean did it in a movie but do you have a “flux-capacitor?”
  2. You need to make mistakes to grow
    1. You are human, mistakes will always happen and if you could go back and undo some it doesn’t mean you won’t make mistakes in the future.
    2. Mistakes allow us crucial learning experiences for self-growth and development. Some say the best lessons come from the worse mistakes we make.
  3. Think about it, turning back time would change your entire future…or so that’s what the movies tell us.
    1. If there is one thing in your life you would want to turn back time to change, remember, it could also change all the great things you have because of the path your life took. Is it worth it?
  4. You are the person you are because of where you have been. Deep thinking but oh so true.
    1. What if you had turned left instead of right or done ‘this’ instead of ‘that?’ Would you have the people in your life you do today? Would you have the career you do today? Like #3, changing just one thing could have the “Butterfly Effect” and change everything in your life. Great movie by the way, if you haven’t seen “The Butterfly Effect” with Ashton Kutcher it is something you should rent.
  5. I’m not a believer in destiny, per se, but some feel there’s always been a plan for you even though you may not be able to see it.
    1. Lesson to be learned…stop wishing the past can be changed when the future is, for the most part, in your control. Move on, get past the past, control what you can control, and live in the here and now.
    2. Be present in the present.
